the car was parked in my business parking lot and a customer of mine backed into it with his Pick-up truck in an effort to make room for a tractor-trailer rig. A security camera recorded the whole incident. I tried to make a claim against his Insurance carrier (Progressive), and they were complete A-holes. They want to put epoxy in hole in the bumper and beat the trunk lid flat and fill it with bondo. On top of that, they refused to give me a rental until the car goes in for work. The closest appointment that I could get was a week after the incident. They told me that I could carry it to their facility in Va Beach for repairs immediately (someone I had never heard of). They said they would put my car in front of other cars so as to save on rental fees. Why would I want to deal with someone that would delay work on somebody else's car to work (rush through a job) on my car? Progressive sucks! I claimed against my insurance (Nationwide) and they are handling it the way they should. They will subjugate against Progressive for the repairs and the rental...and recover my $500.00 deductible. Progressive sucks!
Car went in the shop this morning. It will be 1 year old next week...happy birthday!
