One, is the evaporator temperature switch, located in the evaporator coil inside the HVAC cowl cavity between the firewall and passenger compartment.



This thermostat cycles the compressor on and off when the evaporator is cold enough. This fails closed, causing meat hanging to ice cream making conditions.
