Hi all,
In a recent post i mentioned the strange noise coming from the front laft side of the engine which i couldn't pinpoint.
Well now it seems its coming from the brake pressure sensor.
It was every 15 secs or so but now it seems more random maybe every 40ish seconds.
What happens is it makes a sort of 'Plump' noise a bit like a compressor and you can feel it if you touch the pipe circled in the picture as it does it.
Anybody have any ideas on what or why this may be?
My car has long since had Bilstein rear shocks and i'm not sure if this system is related to the LAD system...i think it is but it never used to do it whan i owned the car before.
I wondered if during its recent diagnostics check they may have reset it so it is trying to pump what is no longer there?
Would that make any sense?
