First I had to primer it with red primer because the chrome will still show through regular gray primer. After that was done I then lightly and I mean lightly applied the first layer of black. Then more coats of black were applied till I achieved an even black gloss across all of the front trim. Then after four hours of drying, a light layer of clear coat was applied to "tack" the surface. Let fifteen minutes pass for drying, then two more layers of clear coat. Then let dry for 48 hours, apply 3M's rubbing compound to blend everything together, polish, wax, and voila' Im friggin done.......Now, new project will be to black out the middle chrome grills.......
