I keep having the same problem with a spongy clutch. I replace my slave unit and bleed the system. The point at which the clutch released was vastly improved and then deteriorated to the point that I feel like I have to drive the clutch petal into the floor board in order to shift. My fluid level in the brake reservoir is good and doesn't change. I'm sucking air into the system some where. I may be in error, but I'm guessing it's being sucked in thru the low pressure hose between the reservoir and the master cylinder. Does this make sense to anyone? I'm hoping that if I change the hose between the two that will take care of the problem. I've eliminated the high pressurer hose, since I should have some leakage and would not be able to bleed the system thru the slave unit. Has anyone had this problem and what was the eventual solution? Thanks for your help
