Symptoms are:

No radio at all - not even for 30 sec then shutdown

NAV widescreen appears white when viewed from all angles

NAV computer is used, supposedly good MK4 with the original BMW disk from the original NAV3.

The disk is seeking when you put it in, but nothing displays on the NAV screen at all.

Is there a TV module on the rear package seat? There is definately NOT one in the trunk.

If I think it's the screen and I pull it out, is there someplace to look for a problem? i.e.cold solder joints?

I have SSS and DIS software and a diagnostic cable. Can I troubleshoot with this when I get the software all loaded on my laptop?
