Subject: Re: Seals done, still stuttering a bit

Thanks again for all your help, I'm starting to get to the point where I've exhausted all ideas and I still have the problem.

I just finished replacing my CCV and it's four associated hoses. While I was in there, I cleaned the ICV well and replaced the lower intake boot which I found torn in the elbow where it connects to the ICV.

To this point, I've done the VANOS fix, replaced the CCV and all hoses, replaced the torn lower intake boot and a few vacuum hoses that appeared torn, cleaned the MAF and disconnected it to verify that the problem is still present when it's disconnected, checked the play of the DISA valve and sealed the gasket at its base with RTV, replaced the fuel filter.

The Spark plugs are only about 15k old and the air filter is only 5k old.

The car pulls strong and drives nicely except for this stutter under acceleration that persists even after all of this. It does feel generally better to me, but it's not just right. The stutter happens at 2700 RPM like clockwork, once above 3000 RPM, it's practically non-existant and it's completely gone above 3500 RPM. It sounds like the software flash addresses high RPM hesitations and I don't have any of them. I feel like I'm beating my head against a wall with this problem, any more ideas that I should look into? Thanks again.
