What exactly do you mean by "won't work."

It looks like the pairing occurs OK and you get the beeps on the car to confirm that it paired.

1) When you turn the car off and back on, and then select the "TELEPHONE" option from the main navigation menu, what happens?

2) Is there any indiciation on the phone of Bluetooth activity when you turn the car on?

3) Does the BT connection start on the phone, and then drop?

4) Are any of the phone LEDs lit on the nav screen? (The three red, green, and amber LEDs at the top right corner of the screen.)

I do not have any first-hand experience with a Pantec phone, but I have read several posts where people have had trouble getting it to upload the phonebook. So, I would start by configuring the phone so that it will not upload the phone book over Bluetooth. Next, most Bluetooth phones have a setting that says whether the connection is trusted or it should prompt to connect. Look for that, and then set the ULF to trusted.
