When you said “OEM,” I assumed that your car was as it originally came from the factory. You have definitely had some malicious monkeys at work. No telling if that equipment is factory original or if someone did some of their own retrofitting or upgrading.

Listen carefully to the radio playing a quality station. Does it sound more like the cassette or CD changer? Granted, CD is much better quality, but the radios in these cars are pretty good. You mentioned that the CD changer is much louder than TV. Is this true for cassette and radio as well? The audio levels for all sources ought to be relatively similar. I have a theory that the problem is the radio or the wiring between the radio and DSP amp.

If radio, tape, and TV seem to be similar and lower quality, focus on the radio. It could be that you just have a bad radio. Compare the left channel to the right channel using the balance control. If both sound the same, then the problem is likely the radio. If one side sound better than the other, then check the wiring.

Yes, I have used SSS and Progman. If you have access to those, you can tell your car to code your DSP amp. After the coding, your amp should be 100% correct for the car.
