I live in NJ, on my way home from work yesterday. I had a flat tire, I crack the lugs, and started jacking up the car. The car went up about three inches, but the jack was up about ten inches. When I felt the area I had placed the jack, I felt the carpet inside the car. I jump up and looked inside the car, Oh man, I could see the pavement. My passenger side of the is totally rusted. So, I tried a few more spots but got the same results. I was able to get the wheel off after one and half hours.

Ok, with spare tire on, I continued my trip home. For those members who live in NJ, and have driven on Rt 22 West in Hillside, be careful. As I drove down Rt. 22, it was less the three minutes since I started driving again. BOOOOOM, what the %$#^#%@^!!!! THe same tire I just changed went into a pothole or something, it was too dark. This time the tire was rubbing agaist something, and smoke was coming for the front right. When I check the spring was touching the wheel.

Today I had a chance to look at it, the spring support was completed rusted and that was what broke.

SO, I need a new project car, does anyone E28 for sale (533 or 535). I'm looking for a car where the motor needs work.
