Ok, first off, I am going to admit I caused this problem...That being said this is what happened. I was trying to remove the brake fluid filter to replace it. I used my filter metal flat strap remover and when I when to twist nothing happened. I tried to twist it off several times, but with no luck. The Silver component that has all the brake lines leading to it did shift while doing this. NOW, I then notice that most of my brake fluid is in a pool beneath my car. I jacked it up and tried looking where it was leaking from but I can't get a real good look at it. It seems to be leaking from the bottom of the silver component that is attached to the yellow looking metal drum? Anyway, I tried pouring some more Dot3 into the reservoir but it just leaks out.

1. Brake fluid light is on. I can brake but the pedal goes almost to the floor now.

2. Did I just loosen something or brake some sort of seal causing the fluid to leak out?

3. This item look really hard to get out and or remove to look at it. Should I just take it in and have someone fix, it is the brakes, or is this something that can be fixed with a good afternoon of working on it.

Thanks, in advance.
