All right I try to start the car no spark but turns over just fine. The coil looked brand new as well as the wires. The previous owner said he was told it was the brain box that was teh problem. So I pulled out what I thought was the ECU but looking in the Haynes that I had access to it didn't look like where the ECU was so I assume it was the TCM. Then I saw there was another brain box above the one I took out. So I took that one out. The smaller brain I was able to take apart to see if there were any burn marks on the board and if any components were cooked. None in the small box. The bigger box I couldn't get into I didn't even try cuz it looked like they made it to NOT be opened ever. So I reinstalled both boxes now the car won't even turn over. (Yes the battery was disconnected when I messed with them). Now when I turn the key the sitch next to the shifter (Switch has 3 positions a 321, E, and I wanna say either an R or S). When I unplug the switch no noise is heard. When I plug the switch back in it works normal going to whatever selection I set it on (I have NO idea exactly what this switch does either I assume it's related to the trans somehow) but the trans light comes on in the dash and when I try to start the car no matter what position the switch is in it'll make the noise again and center the switch at which point the switch will not select anything until I unplug and plug it back in again. Any ideas people?
