Restored/enthusiast owned 2002 for sale
Today at 6:40pm Quote Modify Remove
This project has just been completed and is now for sale:

Started by stripping the body and sending it out for some rust repair
and install two new front fenders, then to the paint shop for more
work and a paint job in the original Verona red.

When the car came back from the paint shop the suspension was removed
and rebuilt using new Bilstein sport shocks and sport springs, new
heavy sway bars front and back, shortened drive shaft and custom
shift linkage for
the five speed conversion.

Then vented rotors and bigger calipers for
the front brakes and converted the rear drum brakes to disc brakes,
all new brake lines. Limited slip diff mounted in the sub frame and
bolted up with new bushings.

The engine was rebored 1mm over, good used high compression pistons with
total seal rings. Connecting rods were balanced to less than 1 gram
difference also lightened by 40 grams, crank was polished and oil holes
radiused, flywheel was lightened and the whole assembly with clutch
balanced. The head has dual valve springs with light retainers, cam
shaft is reground by Shadbolt Cams which I don't have the exact specs on, carbs are dual side
draft webers 42 mm and an electric fuel pump, they work well with the
cam.

Ignition is Tii distributor with pertronix pointless ignition,
MSD 6A multi spark with tach adapter, the car has a stahl header.

The wheels are 15 inch BBS RM modular (very expensive) with new 195/50
tires There is strut brace up front and the battery has been relocated
to the trunk and as you can see there is a spoiler on the front.

The interior has 320is Recaros that have been done, custom door panels were
made and every thing finished with a two tone black and grey. As you can see a lot of time, money, and effort have gone in this fine machine.
All the details that had to be taken care of are not complete and the car is ready to be sold, asking price is $12,000cdn obo. You can contact Billy at (250) 748-7863 anytime after 6pm for further information. Thanks!

P.S. the engine is not yet broken in
