As for the starting problems: Did you change the distributor and rotor?
Also check if the check valve is defective in the fuel line. That means, when this valve is defective the fuel will run back into the fuel tank over night when car is parked.
Try the following: switch ignition to position 2 and wait 10 seconds. Repeat same. In this position the fuel pump should start to work and will switch off when required fuel pressure is reached and engine is not switched on. Then start engine. If engine now starts immy, replace the check valve.
Then try the following to check if the tank airation is o.k. or if there is a vacuum. After you drove the car and then switch it off, open the tank lid. If you hear a hissing sound, there is vaccum in the tank = tank airation defective.
