It looks like that according to this list from Martin (in the post) the *665 is the first one that actually does support MP3.

I got it for $150.00 USD so it would be awesome if it works.

Any suggestions for location to mount new cd changer? (its bigger and does not fit the normal spot in the e38)

- OEM Battery Replacement
- Service Inspection II (oil, fuel, engine filters replaced, interior and exterior cabin microfilters replaced, spark plugs, fuel injection cleansed)
- a/c belt and serpentine accessory belts replaced
- power steering hoses replaced
- valve cover gaskets replaced, covers chemically cleaned
- brake hydraulic system flushed and bled
- L and R hood grille replaced
- MKIV navigation
- Widescreen nav replaced due to crack in original
