Subject: Hey, I got a brainstorm Issue to ask all you guys (and gals) about Toyota prblm

I'm beginning to believe that all that Toyota's pedal problem is- is not what it seems.

But what many of you who diagnose the very problems of the E38's, may be able to help with trying to pose a hypothesis on what the problem for Toyota.

I believe it is a problem tied into the Cruise Control! And the fact that the San Diego Owner of the Prius whose pedal went to the floorboard might be an indication that the CC went into 'resume' mode into some 'default' speed (or the computer defaulted to a undetermined speed which was more than likely 'max'. I'm not an automotive engineer but I do recall (no pun) the action of the pedal reminds me much of what happens when the 'Resume' button is pushed if at a "less than" speed.

I also am beginning believe that Toyota might not want to truly understand the root of the problem, but mask the fix. I'm certain that if they took the time and concentrate their efforts on this problem, some glitch may be uncovered.

Any ideas?
