Got all 4 struts redone this weekend, amongst other things, and now I have some questions.
Everything is solid, got torqued twice, but when I took the old monster for a test run I am still getting a hollow kind of clonking sound as the suspension expands to fill the many ruts on my unpaved corner of town. The suspension doesn't exhibit any rattles or shakes, nothing seems loose. The noise/sensation through the steering wheel is almost like the hood wasn't latched. I'm wondering about my bushings - all of the lower ones seem okay but the one to the stabiliser link looks a little past it's prime, could this be it?
