Subject: Need New Tires.....wtf

What's everyone running for tires these days?

I went to look at tirerack since I got the 320 in a place I can work on it now and all of the tire options suck these days! If you don't count the crappy Korean chintzy tires and the lame Khumo of questionable quality and sidewall durability, I am either finding the Hoosier A6 racing compound or R6 racing compound.

I've been looking around on the net and from a few other places I've read about, some Honda forums and what have you, it seems like the Toyo RA-1 or R888 will fit in either 185/60/13 or 205/60/13 (as they actually MAKE a tire for a 13" rim), but these are racing compounts which would be sweet for the track but would they work on the street?

The other trouble is I have 185/70/13 right now and with the lowering that's been done it rubs. Keeping that aspect ratio but going wider won't help and the 185/60 will throw off the speedo.

Yea, I know I need a fiberglass widebody but I'll get to that later. Right now I just want to drive it since it hasn't been run in years and the 18 year old Pirelli's are just too stretched, dry rotted, cracked, and crummy to run safely!

Any suggestions would be appreciated, Thanks!
