Low compression = low octane
high compression = high octane.

Simple stuff.

Six cylinder 730, 735 and V12 750 are low comp. V8 730 and 740 are high comp, high octane. However, the V8s have knock sensors so if you don't use the right octane it will just retard timing so the engine doesn't knock (which can have catastrophic results after a while!).
