Thanks for the reply--yes I understand where your coming from--with the engine at idle and warmed up and nothing on except the engine running at idle was what I'm trying to get a feed back on. I too had a little loss of gas mileage after the seals being installed--but I didn't think that was what caused it to happen--I then installed a new ccv valve and all and went haywire trying to search for hidden vac leaks--and there are plenty of places to look on one of these engines--Even caught one hiding on the back post of my distribution unit one time--the rubber 0 ring was allowing air to come thru there.
I am trying to get a handle on oil consumption issue is the reason that I had asked the question--and I think that it's vacuum related.
I am now running an oil catch can and have disabled the ccv valve entirly--the oil consumption has stoped because of the addition of high vacuum that I have introduced to the crankcase--don't mean to be steeling your thread---these new seals though are great --the power of the car really comes on after this mod.
