In terms of regular maintenance the S70 is not more expensive than the M70. The S70 is not that different from the M70 - it shares a lot of parts. Of course, if you need to overhaul the engine and replace a lot of S70 specific parts you'll notice they are a bit more expensive than the M70 equivalents, but not substantially more expensive. Availability of S70 specific parts is not an issue.
