Kiwijochen was 100% right. It is water damage. I opened the Nav. Computer and could see the oxidation done by the water that got in. I noticed a couple of very dark smoky spots around a couple of tiny resistors. I think these might have blown up, but I am not sure. I tried to clean the circuits with electronic components cleaner, but have not tested the computer yet. In the meanwhile, I bought a used MK3 that works perfectly. Thanks.
