Thanks for the info, my numbers are 3-1/63 which if i'm reading that chart correctly is MKIII with software V22 or higher.
Does that mean that i can buy any CD based map(that is blue in color) and it will work but it is best to get a later date so that the map is more current? What about the navteq maps listed on ebay that say they are for Land Rover and BMW, will these work?

My old 528i had an ipod connector and i was wondering if its possible to set up(somewhat easily) an aux connection for my ipod with this system. If you could point me in that direction it would be appreciated.
