Hi,

I upgradede my MKII to MKIV navigation last week, and at the same time I changed from the 4:3 to the 16:9 monitor. With the old original system, the select button was OK - for instance I could randomize the CD changer.

Now this function is gone, with the 16:9 monitor. I've been searching a bit, and found this
bimmernav which tells something about the problem I'm having. But it also says, that i should only have this problem, with the combination of a 16:9 monitor and the MKII navigation unit.

So my question is - what has happened with my setup ?

When I installed it in my car, I started with the MKIV unit, tested it on my 4:3 monitor, and then fitted the 16:9 monitor. Today I tried to disconnect the battery, to see if it would make any changes - nothing happened.

By the way - my car is a E46 328i modelyear 2000
