You're probably wondering why I'm showing a 15" flat panel cpu monitor on here for and what it has to do with my car....or you figured it out and closed this post already.

I gave up on the visor monitor idea, and with a little persuasion from friends (not just Brad this time) I decided to go with a slightly bigger, more insane idea. Yep, this is going to be removably mounted to the underside of the dash on the passenger side of my car. The Ergotron swivel arm will be mounted on a bracket that should easily attach to a steel plate behind the glove box. Remember this isn't going to be there all the time.

In the meantime, I will probably pick up a practicle, really cheap, 4-5" monitor to put in the driver side sunvisor for monitoring and selecting MP3s.

I've also picked up most of the extra cables I need to complete this job and belive me, the car is gaining some weight with this. Some of the extras include:

* 12ft RCA for xbox to dvd player
* extra set of xbox power and standard A/V cables
* power ext cord for the monitor
* 16ft data grade networking cable for relocating the xbox power button to the dash
* 2 wireless xbox controllers
* 400watt power inverter for xbox and monitor

Things still on the list:
* xbox mounting bracket for the trunk
* dash bracket for monitor
* small monitor

I know I'm missing a few things but this post is already too long so I guess if anyone wants to know more, just ask.

Steve
