button on your MID that says TAPE_CD is dual function button...if you press the left side it will choose TAPE...if you press the right side it will choose CD (if there's something connected to the CDC data cable).

If there's nothing connected to the CDC data cable (or the CDC connector on the back of the head unit...then it will only choose the TAPE player.

Take my suggestion for what it's worth...I don't have a DICE unit connected to my car...so I'm just going off how the MID & Audio components function without any modification. 8-)
