I would give the car about 10 - 15 minutes to get its first satellite lock. Then, it will take a while longer to download the almanac so that it can obtain future locks faster.

The antenna is located on the top side of the parcel deck, under the trim. So, to access it, you will need to remove the seats and C-Pillar trim, and then remove the parcel shelf cover. I do not have a good picture of the GPS antenna, but here is a pic of my deck where I installed my Sirius antenna. The GPS antenna is located on the other side of the 3rd brake light, in a similar position as my Sirius antenna.
