It worked awesome!!! The headlights look brand new. It is a multistep process with two stages of wet sanding, a compounding polish, and finally two coats of clear sealant. I did the lights about six months ago, and they still look brand new.

I guess it would work on the tail lights. You could either just do the cloudy part or the whole tail light.
