new insurance info. The medical provider billed the wrong company.

Second, BC, even though you now longer had coverage, paid the claim. THEIR fault, not yours.

Tell BC to get their money back from the provider. They screwed up, and it's not your job to fix it.

Lastly, tell them if they want the money, they will have to sue you and you'll bring in the medical provider as a third party defendant, as the medical provider screwed up to.

Use a variant of a line I once used on a dealer to get things right. I told them I'd sue them, ask for a jury, and then they'd have to try and find six or twelve people who've never been F**cked by a car dealer. They agreed that would be a difficult task. Try and find six or twelve people who've never been F**cked by a medical insurer!
