This is from Lone Star Chapter BMW CCA (LSCBMWCCA) calendar. I am not sure if BMWCCA membership is required to attend. Please communicate directly with designated contact persons below if you have questions. Three DFW7 members did attend a similar DIY at IX-XI last year ("mancho", "turkeybird740i", "petrolero").

FYI, Tech Sessions & DIY Sessions at Indy shops are hard to come by this year. DFW7 board members have tried unsuccessfully to secure an sponsor. Only one willing was Louden, and they required LSCBMWCCA participation or BMWCCA membership from all participants. If you haven't subscribe to a BMWCCA membership, it is worth considering Why Join BMW CCA ?

05/14/05 - Saturday Morning Do It Yourself (DIY)
LOCATION: IX-XI
2120 Cindy Lane
Dallas, TX 75229
TIME: Starts at 8 am - 12 pm
DETAILS: Come and work on your car inside the clean professional facilities provided to us by our driving school supporter and IX-XI owner Barry Gibbs. Barry will open his lifts, staff the parts counter and have a mechanic on hand let you know when we get way in over our head. Don’t forget to preorder everything you may need for what you have in mind by calling Steven at 972-241-2002 x104.

Come in and prepare your car for the coming Driving School and Club Race, have your car professionally inspected for the event IX-XI staff, pressure wash it from above and below (yes, there is a bay for washing the underside of your car while it's on a lift!) or just plain change your oil.

* Priorities will be given to small one hour long projects, but if there is enough time left you can spend the whole Saturday morning working on your car. All cars must be driven or pushed off the lifts by 12pm. If you bit more than you can chew, 911 will take your appointment to finish the job off for you on Monday. If you have any questions, contact Alex Fadeev.

RSVP: Please RSVP with an email to afadeev@lscbmwcca.org
