is leaking coolant. I disconnected the joint by pulling the wire. There is an o-ring inside the hard pastice pipe. The o-ring looks brand new. Yet it is slowly leaking coolant. Is there a way to fix the leak. I already ordered the tank, the float and the hose. You can't even tighten the joint with a hose clamp because both the male and female parts are hard plastic pipes sealed only by the o-ring. I tried a same diameter but thicker o-ring, the socket can't go in deep enough to seat.

Is there any other way to seal the joint?
