I got the rear upper control arm and the left outer tie rod end replaced all right, but when I took it to the mechanic they couldn't get it to take the alignment.

Turned out the center link, replaced OEM by the same mechanic 15 months ago, was bad. It was out of warranty, but they replaced it at cost, no labor. Though disappointed with the early failure of this OEM part, I felt my indy treated me fairly.

The car does drive much better now but I still feel like there is something not quite right. The shimmy is less, but it is still there.

I'm afraid I have to do the traction struts.

I was sorry to miss all the fun at Simeon's and Brian's. It looked like terrific fun! I'm glad, though, that I didn't count on getting my work done there. It looks like there were people stacked 3 deep trying to do the same thing.
