I've done control arms 3 times already on this car.
every time its the lower/outer ball joint that goes. I have the solid M3 bushing in the lollipops. the upper/inner ball joints have always been Good, always tight, never questionable. and removing the arm on the E36 is a big pain ; not easy like the e30. much less room to work on the E36.
I read that the lower/outer joints are prone to failure, thats why meyle designed the all metal ones.
Has anyone ever had the inner/ upper ball joint get even somewhat loose?
