I have a '88 735i and the transmission got ruined because the underside of the car hit a curb. I then got a rebuilt transmission put into the car. 2 days later, when I started my car I couldn't get the car to go into drive. It will shift into reverse fine but when I put it into drive it just acts like it's in neutral. I want to know what anyone would think the problem is and if you know of any mechanics that could take a look at it to see the problem. I live in the robbinsdale 55422 area. I'm asking on this board because I don't have the type of money right now to be ripped off by motorwerks because that's the only shop I know that does work on BMWs. Thanks.
