Pairing worked before with E39-CPT8000 ULF purchased 2/21/06 for my 2000 528i but does not work now. Followed instructions to hold down pairing button at least 1 second before starting ignition, then waiting 2-3 seconds after, still no "pairing" display.

My old Motorola RAZR still connects with the Bluetooth system, but I cannot activate pairing to pair new iPhone 3G.

Suggestions?

I've left iPhone attempting to discover BMW system for over 10 minutes, but BMW system not found.
