Subject: I've dealt with three of them.

For the most part, they're all pretty good, especially when compared to other dealers I've had the misfortune of dealing with out of Georgia.

Here is my experience:

UnitedBMW in Gwinnett
Parts: Very good and helpful. Offers 10% discount with CCA membership.
Service: Fair to good. Generally helpful but you have to get the right service advisor. Easy to get an appointment for service, sometimes the same day. Good prices on oil changes ($59 synthetic). They wash your car for free, too, which is a nice touch. They messed up on three service jobs, though, and wouldn't stand behind their work. One was when they told me I needed a new transmission in my e38 (I didn't). Another was when they stripped the oil drain bolt in the e38. And another was when they didn't properly bleed and fill the coolant in my '86 735i, causing it to overheat on a hot summer day, leaving me stranded. Not to say that they're all bad, though -- they've done more good than bad but you do have to check everything (sound advice for any dealer).
Sales: Like many sales departments, it all depends on who you deal with. In general, everyone is friendly with little to no snobbery. New car prices tend to be somewhat inflexible with regard to discounting and negotiating.

UnitedBMW in Roswell
Parts: No experience here. They do offer a discount with CCA membership.
Service: Not much experience here, personally, but others have told me good stories.
Sales: Still somewhat inflexible with regard to pricing, but they have a nice showroom and good selection.

Global Imports in Marietta
Parts: Very helpful. Offers discount with CCA membership.
Service: Not much experience here.
Sales: Rich Wiegand (if he's still the manager there) will wheel and deal. Good guy to work with.

ChrisBMW in Decatur (now called Nalley, if I'm not mistaken)
Parts: They didn't seem as knowledgeable with the parts system and finding unusual parts for my 7, but friendly.
Service: No experience here.
Sales: Better on pricing than most dealerships I've seen. When I bought an X5 from them three years ago, they had the best price and set up factory delivery for me in Spartanburg, SC, which was a real treat.

Hank Aaron BMW
Parts: No experience here.
Service: No experience here.
Sales: Willing to negotiate on price. Smaller dealership than the others. Hank Aaron will pose for photos with visitors and will autograph a baseball for you with a purchase. Very cool celebrity factor there.
