I am having problems with 2 separate DICE silverline units on 2 different cars using 2 different connection methods to the car.

One car is 00 7i with stock radio + DSP, removed iBus CD changer.
Here the DICE connects to the CD changer 3-wire plug for control and to a A2D converter for connection to the DSP. In this setup, all wires are in the trunk (not even installed) and there are issues with what has been so far described as "alternator whine" or "wire-crosstalk". This of course conveniently happens when the car is running only :-)

Other car is 98 7iL with BM53 radio + Lear DSP and self made iBus connector for the silverline unit. Here the audio is routed directly into the 6-pin radio plug from the dice unit. Ditto here as well.

Have tried to contact dice and europeanautosource from whom this was bought but clearly not at the head of the queue yet.
