Subject: The ABS light indicates when the system is not>

working as you know. When it comes on is an indication for some as to what to look at. It lights to say the bulb works when the car is turned on and when the car is started, remains lit until the abs computer receives enough voltage to 'wake up' about 10.5 volts. Now with the light out, the computer continues to monitor the situation and lites the lamp when there is something amiss. If the light comes on at higher speeds (65-80) it is usually the pulse rings on the wheel hubs. A corroded section of the ring can cause errors in the pulses. If the light stays on, then the problem is maybe the computer or electrical connections. If the light comes on immediately on moving forward, then suspect a sensor. Let us know, we'll go from there.
