mentioned below does dry pretty shiny. But, it also dries looking "thick" - you can tell there are a couple of coats on the caliper. So, it's not that smooth, metal looking look you're after, I don't think. Then again, our calipers aren't smooth to start with. But, I applaud you for wanting to do it right (no paint on surfaces that shouldn't have paint).
