I have a 2005 M3 built in September 04. Bimmernav.c0m has CD changers that will send the ID3 data (Song title, artist etc.) but it says they'll only display on radios built after August 05. Anyone know how to determine when the radio was built without pulling it from the car?
There was a lot of trouble with reception, and BMW has a service measure
B65 209 04 but the dealer won't replace the radio unless I can get it to fail when they're in the car.
(I have software version 41-04-95, and know the serial number of the radio.)
