My 850ci is registered as a 1999 model with the equivalent of the DMV where I am. Nonetheless, a metal tag that states conformity to Arabian Gulf sepcs has 1998 on it.

Up till recently I did not know they even made 850ci in 1999, but then I discovered that BMW did and that 3 of them where shipped to the dealer whose car I have. They even made one in 2000 !! Let me know if you know if THAT guy is selling.

How would I know if my car is a 1999 or a 1998 model?
