Hi,
I am a bmw senior tech with 10 years bmw experiance.
I work at a main dealer in the UK "Sytner Sunningdale" near Ascot Berkshire.
I had been trying to locate the cause of the hunting during the warm up period on my own E39 528i m52tu for a while i had no fault codes all the engine mixture adaption figures were spot on i had already replaced the usual breather pipes and cyclone when i got the car Thought i would live with it until i found this repair.
Ordered the seals carried out the repair and yes it has fixed the problem car now has increased performance also.

We have since had one customer who came into our dealership with the seal kit two days after i had fitted my kit asking for us to fit the seals to his car. we carried out the repair putting a warrenty on the workmanship but not the repair itself as it is not an autherised bmw repair. The customer was charged 4 hours labour we also used new gaskets and seals.
