Hi Keith

The e23 B10 I found (or was found for me) on the drive of the owner about 180 miles from where I live, I just got on the train and bought it, then drove it back, taking a chance it was a genuine Alpina, and I was lucky, it was.
But the B9 was different. It was advertised in the BMW Car Club (GB)magazine and it was in the next village to me, so I had to go and have a look. Turned out to be a one owner car, he bought it from new, and has now replaced it with a 740i e38!
The car is a little rough, something is not right at the back (I suspect some bushes are on their way out) and the steering is a little imprecise, so I think the tracking is in need of attention, but apart from that it's good (and a little rusty!)
Interior has the Alpina trimmed recaro seats, and they are comfortable.
