As mentioned before, I'm still looking for a source for a dash and windshield trim. But I was looking and beginning to contemplate all the items I want to either fix or replace. And of course the list seems to grow by the moment. But I was looking at the factory leather seats that are basically flawless except the passenger seat back bolster where the stitching gave way but the leather did not tear and all being really dirty for being exposed for a long time.

A local restoration shop suggested a product for the leather to restore it to brand new appearance along with protecting it. Its called Leatherique. Has anyone heard of this stuff and is it really any good. The resto shop swears by it, but then again they may just want to be selling some to me.

I was kind of thinking of retrofitting replacement front seats to electric stocks instead of the manual adjusting type that it now has. While I am there I figured I would replace the carpet and rear side panels. From there the interior will be like new!

The exterior has one small dent and needs to be painted. Been using a shop in Tijuana, MX and they work miracles with paint and upholstery. So while I am looking for the parts, I am planning to take it south 30 miles or so and get a couple of seams in the top repaired, the plastic rear glass replaced, seats buttoned up (just in case I don't get the electrics to replace them) and a beatuiful new coat of black and clear!

As we venture along on this journey, I will be posting pics.

Any thoughts, ideas or suggestions?
