Mr. Bosox is spot on about the pads. I would get an extra orange and white pad at the very least - maybe 2 extra orange pads. The yellow pad will likely not be part of your regular maintenance program, although very good for your initial treatment of your paint. I would also pick up a good assortment of quality microfiber pads, hand applicators and a good microfiber wash mitt (my preference).

Of course, a high quality assortment of compounds, polishes, glaze and waxes makes all the difference. You won't be surprised to learn that my preference is for my GlossHaus products which have been "tuned" to work with particular pads to produce a topflight result without the confusion of "What to use and when". All my products in this category are water-based and and lack the heavy petroleum distillates found in many other products. It also makes the pad cleanup routine very easy and your not exposing your hands to harsh chemicals.
