Fellow DFW7 members,

I have sent this survey to everyone registered with DFW7's website. If you haven't fill out the Contact Request at DFW7, please take a moment to do so. After reading the survey below, please EMAIL me your reply (click my initial JL this message header for my email address). Since not all members visit this forum on regular basis.

2005 MEMBER SURVEY

Our volunteer board members met today to discuss our Meet for this year. Now is your opportunity to tell us what you like to see happen in 2005 for DFW7. FYI, we have set 4 tentative Meet dates for this year, they are 2/27, 6/5, 10/2 and 12/11. Please go down the list, pick four (4) of your favorite events. Rank in the order of 1 ~ 4, 1 been the highest interest. Keep in mind that of the four events, we will have one that's cater to general interest (i.e. family friendly event such as Winery Tour last year). Kindly reply to me ASAP! Here are the events to pick from,

- Tech and/or DIY Session (Bluetooth, Subwoofer, Spark Plugs, Brakes, etc.)

- Drag Strip, Track/AutoCross or Drivers Ed events

- Oktoberfest in Tyler

- Group Cruise & a meal - to Gaylord Hotel & Resort; Grapevine Grape-fest or any half/same day event with a meal.

- Vendor event such as (but not limited to) the dentless paint repair we had in October.

- Car-wash, detail and shine


- It has been suggested by someone that we survey whether members wish to see a paid membership type of program where benefits such as private lifts and/or storage space can be offered to premium members. Along with other type of benefits such as liability insurance coverage so we can attend some events where insurance are required (we have been shut out once due to liability insurance requirement, granted not often). Simply answer FOR or AGAINST Paid Membership Structure with Benefits. If majority are for, we will explore this subject in detail at a different time.
