A 533i (1983 - 1984) comes with a 3.2 engine, but the head is the same.

530i (1989 - 1994 I think) could also work.

535i(is) could also work.

I have an 1984 533i, I replaced the head a few years back, then I replace the engine two years ago. I used an 1987 735i engine. All the same thing.

What happened to your current head?
