there have been a raft of recalls for Chinese made products lately that have been faulty or downright dangerous. Mattel has been burned heavily by selling Chinese made toys that were defective and/or had lead paint. Their prototypes were fine, but the production stuff was bad.

"This is also the latest in a string of recalls involving tainted or defective Chinese-made products, including tires, toothpaste, seafood and ingredients used to make pet food.

An investigation by ConsumerAffairs.com earlier this summer also revealed that 96 percent of all toys recalled during the first part of the year were made in China."

This isn't racist or ignorant, it's merely the facts. The crash tests of Chinese built cars have been absolutely horrible. Korean cars are very safe, and highly advanced. Chinese cars have been, and continue to be, complete junk in construction and safety.

This is the Brilliance, the latest Chinese car to enter the European market. It fared worse than a 20 year old car would. The passenger compartment folded up like a tin can. This is not ignorance on my part to mention it. It is a simple fact. Ignorance is ignoring the simple fact that Chinese products are STILL not up to the quality standards the rest of the world demands.

You personally may have a different experience with your chinese suppliers, but the overall majority are still substandard, if not in the initial delivery phase, then in subsequent deliveries.
