Subject: '80 635CSi Euro whole or parts

I've got a complete 1980 635CSi Euro car that I'm considering parting out. I love the little car to death, but I've got other projects right now that are more pressing. The one condition for parting this car out is that I won't pull a single part off of the car until the engine and or transmission are spoken for.

The engine does not run currently, as one of the rubber pigtails on the injectors is cut in half. The previous owner parked the car 2 years ago when the out of tank fuel pump kicked the bucket. Instead of getting a new pump, they got rid of the car. A friend of mine bought it from them, and I bought it from the friend. I am confident the engine would run if the fuel injector were replaced and it had a good fuel pump.

The transmission is the close-ratio, dog-leg 5 speed. I believe the clutch is still good, but have no way of confirming since the engine doesn't run. With the car in gear, the car will not budge, so there is still some grip left.

The rest of the car is all there, creme colored leather interior. Carpet is pulled out to try to clean it...has several stains. Front seats are decent, rear are great. The fronts are the manual adjustable sport seats (I guess they're recaros, but I'm not sure how to tell positively). The dash has a few cracks, but the guage cluster is still good. All writing on the dash is in German.

All of the drivetrain is still there, and seems to be perfectly functional(transmission, driveshafts, rear end, brakes, struts/springs).

Car also has Momo 16" wheels, they are a "wide five spoke" design with very good tires.

The car has a clear Texas title, and if interest is shown, I would consider outright sale.
