ok... its not the battery. had it checked and recharged, put it in and still nothing. lights are still blinking 15 times. thinking it is the alarm system though no audible siren.(dont think it ever worked) thinking my car might have a factory immobilizer? dont know, and i seem to be getting nowhere. if my starter were immobilized, how would i reset/fix this solution. i think the battery in my remote key is dead also. hard to get around without my car and gather what i might need to fix my baby. called around to various shops and whatnot to get opinions, but mechs all seem to think i should replace everything under the hood to fix her, and they would be glad to tow her in for me! i just hate to think that such a well-designed car wouldnt have a fuse to prevent this sort of thing from happening. i cant be the only guy to have done this before. oh, and also checked the fusible link, which looked like it had separated from one side of the connection and bypassed it for power to starter...nothing. all lights, power, windows, lighter, hazards, dash work. HELP ME PLEASE. I AM GOING ABSOLUTELY NUTS!!!
